    To mark the artist’s 85th birthday, the Museum Franz Gertsch presents his newest painting, “Pestwurz” [Butterbur] (2014/15), which is shown together with woodcuts depicting the same subject matter. And to celebrate this special occasion, his major ensemble of paintings “The Four Seasons” will again go on show. The festive opening takes place on March 8.

    It is time that a museum exhibition again devotes itself to the fine and extraordinary painter Brigitta Weber (1939–1996), and the Museum Franz Gertsch is doing so in a two-person show featuring her works along with those of her son Johannes Hüppi (born 1965).

    In the Print Room, the Museum Franz Gertsch will be exhibiting a concentrated selection of small-format oil paintings by Gabi Hamm dating from the last 15 years. Ceramics produced by the German artist over the past two years will also be on show for the first time in Switzerland.
